the Musical Pile

Musical Pile is a stack of memories, each one a different frequency. By painting these iconic radio stations and hand-written cassette labels, I wanted to capture the feeling of discovering a new song or a familiar voice through the static. It’s a personal look at how the music we collect becomes a library of our lives
